Medication Safety Component
Use the Medication Safety Component to access modules that focus on surveillance of inpatient medication-related harm using digital quality measures (dQMs).
The Medication Safety Component is currently available to participating NHSN Collaborative (NHSNCoLab) facilities that are piloting and validating new NHSN healthcare surveillance measures.
The Medication Safety Component will advance reporting to NHSN using digital quality measures in alignment with the CDC Data Modernization Initiative.
