NHSN Dialysis BSI Rebaseline

“Rebaseline” is a term that CDC’s National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN) staff is using to describe the process of updating the national dialysis bloodstream infection (BSI) baseline and risk adjustment models.

Each Dialysis BSI Rebaseline process results in the creation of updated calculations and risk adjustment models to be used for the standardized infection ratio (SIR).
