Media and Feature Players

Both the slider and carousel are useful for promoting a small set of new or high-priority content on a home page.  A slider allows site visitors to scroll through a set of images or videos, one at a time.

A carousel allows visitors to change the display by clicking on a thumbnail image in a slider control at the bottom.  This content element can also display as a “thumbnail slider.”
