Investments in AMD

Since 2014, the AMD program has helped build capacity and provide workforce training at CDC and in state and local public health laboratories across the nation. That effort is now being expanded by a $1.7 billion, multi-year US government investment in computing power, data-sharing, and education to help prepare states, communities, and the nation for future disease outbreaks.
