Stories of Achievement

CDC Healthy Schools supported state education agencies by providing them with funding, technical assistance, specialized tools, recommendations, and resources to promote school health. Our former cooperative agreement recipients implemented and evaluated evidence-based strategies and programs to improve student health and academic achievement by improving nutrition, increasing physical activity, and managing chronic health conditions.
