Back to 2013-14 Season main page
Influenza vaccination coverage for children 6 months through 17 years is available from NIS-Flu for selected local areas and for adults 18 years and older from BRFSS for two territories. * Coverage estimates are for persons interviewed September (BRFSS) or October (NIS-Flu) 2013 through June 2014 who reported being vaccinated July 2013 through May 2014.
† Month of vaccination was imputed for respondents with missing month of vaccination data. Percentages are weighted to the non-institutionalized, U.S. civilian population.
‡ Estimates not reliable because sample size is <30.
§ Estimates not reliable because relative standard error is >0.3.
|| Estimates might not be reliable because confidence interval half-width is >10.
¶ Rest of State refers to the population of a state that does not reside in a local area for which an influenza vaccination coverage estimate was calculated. For example, Illinois-Rest of State refers to the population of Illinois excluding the City of Chicago.
** Selected high-risk (HR) conditions; includes people with asthma, diabetes, heart disease, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, or cancers other than skin cancer.
