LCWK8 shows the 15 leading causes of infant, neonatal, and postneonatal death, by Hispanic origin, race for the non-Hispanic population (white and black), and sex. The methodology for ranking causes is available in Deaths: Leading causes Cdc-pdf[PDF 4 MB]. Starting in data year 2015, this worktable is supplemental and will be gradually phased out. It is being replaced by a worktable showing the leading causes of death by combined race and Hispanic origin available from LCWK4_HR.
