An increase in the rates of reported cases of hepatitis A occurred from 2016–2019 among both males and females. The rates decreased during 2020–2022. During 2022, the rate of reported hepatitis A virus (HAV) infection was 0.9 cases per 100,000 population for males and 0.5 cases per 100,000 population among females.
