Improving Nutrition Habits and Reducing Sedentary Time Among Preschool-Aged Children in Cuenca, Ecuador: A Trial of a School-Based Intervention

PEER REVIEWED

This figure shows the timeline of the pilot intervention and the enhanced intervention, in their respective school years. For the pilot intervention, the pre-intervention assessment was conducted in September 2015, the intervention was conducted from March to May 2016, and the post-intervention assessment was conducted in June 2016. For the enhanced intervention, the pre-intervention assessment was conducted in October 2016, the intervention was conducted from October 2016 to April 2017, and the post-intervention assessment was conducted in May 2017. For the pilot interventions, the substantial lag time between the pre-intervention assessment and the start of the intervention resulted from administrative turnover in the Ministry of Education, which necessitated their re-review of the proposed intervention.
