Development of the PEA-PODS (Perceptions of the Environment and Patterns of Diet at School) Survey for Students

PEER REVIEWED

The figure is a flow chart of study proceedings, including recruitment, eligibility assessment, enrollment, and study timeline. 87 students were recruited for snowball sampling, and 65 were reached for eligibility assessment. 2 were excluded because they attended private school, and 2 declined to participate. Thus, 61 students were enrolled and completed the Time 1 PEA-PODS survey. Of those, 58 also complete the Time 2 PEA-PODS survey 1 week later, so this sample was used to assess test-retest reliability. Of the 61 who completed the baseline survey, 56 also completed at least 3 days of food records, making it possible to use this sample to assess validity.
