Mission:
The California (CA) Tracking Program’s mission is to mobilize data to improve public health.
Quick Stats:
California is the largest U.S. state, with 40 million people and the world’s fifth largest economy. The state has many environmental challenges that have resulted from economic and population growth, including concerns about water quality, pesticide use, lead exposure, and air quality. California is home to eight of the country’s 10 cities with the worst air pollution according to the American Lung Association’s State of the Air Report.
