Farmacy redemptions suggest that patients living in high deprivation areas (eg, ADI quintile 5) are potentially more likely to visit a food pantry.

The ADI is a residence–census block group measure of the neighborhood environment estimated from 17 variables available from the American Community Survey 5-year estimates, with yearend 2016.
