Effects of a Tobacco-Free Work Site Policy on Employee Tobacco Attitudes and Behaviors, Travis County, Texas, 2010–2012

Your chances of getting sick from smoking will be far less. You will have more energy and breathe more easily. You will have more money to spend on things other than cigarettes. The people you live with, especially children, will be healthier. If you are pregnant, your baby will get more oxygen and be healthier. Help is free!

Tips on How to Quit: Get ready: set a date and commit. Get encouragement: build a support group. Get medicine: talk to your doctor. Be prepared for withdrawal – call the Quitline: 1-877-YES-QUIT.

Resources Available to Help You Quit: Employee Assistance Program and online Resources. Integral Care staff will be reimbursed for the first doctor’s visit (deductible only) to receive a tobacco cessation prescription. Lozenges and gums will be available through the Quitline: 1-877-YES-QUIT.
