World Trade Center Health Program Stakeholder Experience Feedback Collection: Call for Public Comment

July 13, 2026

Today, the World Trade Center (WTC) Health Program announced the publication of a 60-day Federal Register Notice opening a public comment period on a proposed new information collection titled "World Trade Center Health Program Stakeholder Experience Feedback Collection." This is a routine and required step under the Paperwork Reduction Act before the Program can seek approval from the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) to conduct surveys and focus groups. There are no changes to Program benefits, eligibility, or operations associated with this notice.

The proposed surveys will allow the WTC Health Program to gather timely feedback from members and providers about their experiences with Program services, communications, and administrative processes. Feedback would be used to identify areas for improvement, support Program operations, and help the Program respond to member and provider concerns promptly. The Program currently collects member feedback primarily through a comprehensive survey conducted approximately every five years. The proposed collections would complement that effort by enabling the Program to check in with members and providers regularly through brief, voluntary surveys and focus groups following key interactions such as enrollment or certification.
