Subject: DEVCOM Chemical Biological Center (CBC) Fees for Chemical Warfare Agent (CWA) Testing, effective March 2023. This notice supersedes NIOSH Conformity Assessment Notice NIOSH CA 2019-1023 and the NIOSH Letter to All Manufacturers dated August 22, 2014

Summary
The DEVCOM Chemical Biological Center (CBC) conducts the Chemical Warfare Agent (CWA) portion of Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) testing, which is required for NIOSH CBRN approval. DEVCOM CBC recently reviewed and revised its fees for CWA testing. DEVCOM CBC, independent of NIOSH, determines, invoices, and collects these fees. NIOSH does not receive any fees from this testing; all fees are retained by DEVCOM CBC. Effective March 2023, DEVCOM CBC charges will be assessed pursuant to the fee tables below, identified by respirator type.
