HOP Past Programs

HOP has funded land grant universities to implement evidence-based nutrition and physical activity strategies that address health disparities related to nutrition, physical activity, or obesity.

The following past High Obesity Programs planned and carried out local, culturally appropriate programs to address a wide range of health issues.

HOP 2018

Program Description
Funded land grant universities to work with community extension services. Recipients increased access to healthier foods and safe and accessible places for physical activity, in counties that had more than 40% of adults with obesity.
