Mosquito Control for Professionals
In the continental United States, professionals from local government departments or mosquito control districts use integrated mosquito management (IMM) strategies to control mosquitoes that spread viruses like West Nile or dengue. Outbreaks of West Nile virus happen every year. Sometimes a virus like dengue is introduced by an infected traveler to areas of the United States where Aedes aegypti mosquitoes are present.
