This website is archived for historical purposes and is no longer being maintained or updated. For updated information on the current flu season, see the CDC Seasonal Flu website.
Vaccines to protect against 2009 H1N1 are widely available. CDC is encouraging everyone to get vaccinated against 2009 H1N1. Those who have been patiently waiting to receive the 2009 H1N1 vaccine are now encouraged to get vaccinated. Due to early availability of, and high demand for, seasonal flu vaccine, remaining supplies of seasonal vaccine are limited. CDC continues to encourage those at highest risk from flu complications to seek seasonal flu vaccine and receive 2009 H1N1 vaccine, as recommended.
