Data & Benchmarks

Healthy People
Healthy People provides science-based, 10-year national objectives for improving the health of all Americans. For three decades, Healthy People has established benchmarks and monitored progress over time in order to encourage collaborations across sectors, guide individuals toward making informed health decisions, and measure the impact of prevention activities.

County Health Rankings and Roadmaps
The annual rankings measure vital health factors, including high school graduation rates, obesity, smoking, unemployment, access to healthy foods, the quality of air and water, income inequality, and teen births in nearly every county in America. They provide a snapshot of how health is influenced by where we live, learn, work, and play.

Mobilizing Action Toward Community Health (MATCH)
Provides communities with reliable, comprehensive information about their present health status in the form of the nation’s first-ever County Health Rankings, which will be updated each year.

Community Commons
Community Commons is an interactive mapping, networking, and learning platform for the broad-based healthy, sustainable, and livable communities’ movement. It offers a web-based application that helps users interactively visualize data through Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
