Key Statistics from the National Survey of Family Growth
Key Statistics present some of the most relied-upon findings from the National Survey of Family Growth. Estimates are shown for 2015-2017 data for women and men ages 15-49. Most estimates are based on special tabulations using SUDAAN Proc Descript and SAS PROC Surveymeans and standard errors (SE) are included with each estimate. Estimates based on published reports include a hyperlink to the report for more information. All estimates meet NCHS guidelines for presentation of proportions. Key Statistics for women and men ages 15-44 based on 2002, 2006-2010, and 2011-2015 NSFG data are on this website: Archived NSFG Key Statistics.
