National Hemophilia Foundation

The National Hemophilia Foundation (NHF) provides information for women affected by bleeding disorders as well as for healthcare providers, and researchers. Women can learn more about the signs of a bleeding disorder and take a screening tool to find out if they might have one by going to betteryouknow.org. The Better You Know campaign was developed by the National Hemophilia Foundation as part of a cooperative agreement with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Hemophilia Federation of America

Hemophilia Federation of America assists, educates, and advocates for the hemophilia and bleeding disorders community. They provide several community-based programs, including the Blood Sisterhood. The Blood Sisterhood program provides education and support, promotes healthy practices, and establishes a unique sense of community for women with a bleeding disorder throughout all stages of their lives.

Foundation for Women and Girls with Blood Disorders

The mission of the Foundation for Women and Girls with Blood Disorders is to ensure that all women and adolescent girls with blood disorders are correctly diagnosed and optimally treated and managed at every stage of life.
