NIIW Blog-a-thon
During National Infant Immunization Week (NIIW) 2017, CDC invited partners to write blog posts on the importance of infant and childhood immunization as part of an NIIW blog-a-thon. Over 20 organizations and individuals participated in the blog-a-thon, with topics ranging from personal motivations for becoming vaccine champions to the role that child care centers play in childhood immunization. The collaborative effort of so many partners helped increase awareness of vaccine preventable-diseases and the importance of following the CDC’s recommended immunization schedule.
