Data Tables - Adult HAIs

The tables below summarize NHSN HAI pathogen data from adult patients from 2018-2021; over 400,000 pathogens were reported by almost 5,000 healthcare facilities. Common pathogens varied by HAI and facility type. Overall percentages of antimicrobial resistance (AR) remain concerning for some phenotypes of public health importance; refer to Table 11 for summarized results on the 8 AR phenotypes included in this report.
