Protect the Public's Health
The Division of Foodborne, Waterborne, and Environmental Diseases works to protect the public’s health through the prevention of diseases caused by contaminated food, water, animal contact and fungi that are common in the environment. The division also works to investigate outbreaks and to learn how to prevent outbreaks from happening in the future.
