National Native HIV/AIDS Awareness Day - March 20

March 20: National Native HIV/AIDS Awareness Day. CDC, Let's Stop HIV Together, Ending the HIV Epidemic

National Native HIV/AIDS Awareness Day (NNHAAD) is observed annually on March 20. NNHAAD increases awareness, starts conversations, and spotlights the work being done to reduce HIV among American Indians, Alaska Natives, and Native Hawaiians, and show support for people with HIV in these communities.

Get Involved

You can raise awareness of HIV among American Indians, Alaska Natives, and Native Hawaiians and provide information on access to care using CDC’s Let’s Stop HIV Together campaign resources.

Let’s Stop HIV Together aims to empower communities, partners, and healthcare providers to reduce HIV stigma and promote prevention, testing, and treatment among all people in the United States. With campaign resources, partners and other organizations can play a role in preventing HIV and helping people with HIV stay healthy. The Let’s Stop HIV Together campaign is part of the national Ending the HIV Epidemic (EHE) initiative.
