Prevent Getting Sick
CDC has updated isolation and quarantine recommendations for the public, and is revising the CDC website to reflect these changes. These recommendations do not apply to healthcare personnel and do not supersede state, local, tribal, or territorial laws, rules, and regulations.

COVID-19 vaccines are effective at keeping you from getting COVID-19, especially severe illness and death. Vaccines are safe, effective, and free!

Quarantine If You Think You've Been Exposed
People in quarantine should stay home, separate themselves from others, monitor their health, and follow directions from their state or local health department.
Protect yourself and your community by getting your COVID-19 vaccine and wearing a mask indoors in public if you are in an area of substantial or high transmission.
