Cancer Citation Search Tool

The Citation Search tool allows you to find CDC’s latest cancer research quickly.

The Cancer Research Citation Search tool provides links to scientific articles authored or coauthored by scientists in CDC’s Division of Cancer Prevention and Control (DCPC). You can find articles by title, journal, author, year of publication, and topic. The articles themselves are not stored in the search tool; rather, citation titles are linked to the National Institutes of Health’s PubMed database or CDC’s journals Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report (MMWR) and Preventing Chronic Disease. If available, a digital object identifier (DOI) link is also provided.

Topics include—

  • Cancer type (breast, cervical, colorectal, gynecologic, hematologic, lung, ovarian, prostate, and skin)
  • Cancer survivorship
  • Health disparities
  • Rural/urban health
  • Pediatric and young adult cancer
  • Cancers associated with human papillomavirus (HPV)
  • DCPC programs (NBCCEDP, NCCCP, NPCR, and CRCCP)

See Search Tips for helpful guidance on how to use the tool.
