ATTENTION COAL MINERS
NIOSH will be in your area soon to conduct black lung screenings. All coal miners are encouraged to participate. The free screening takes about 15 minutes and includes a short questionnaire and a chest radiograph. Blood pressure screening will also be completed.
Please call 1-888-480-4042 to schedule an appointment. We will have reduced capacity due to the ongoing pandemic, so calling will ensure your time slot.
Depending on the number of miners participating, anticipate some wait time. NOTE: If you have participated in NIOSH black lung screenings within the past 3 years, you will NOT be eligible to receive a chest radiograph at this time.
