Bone fractures (n = 515, 16%), anxiety (n=377, 12%), iron deficiency anemia (n=363, 12%), hypertension (n=333, 11%), and depression (n=329, 10%) accounted for the five most common non-bleeding disorder diseases or conditions ever experienced among the Registry participants (Table 6).

More female participants in the Registry reported iron deficiency anemia (28% versus 8%), depression (18% versus 9%), and anxiety (18% versus 11%) than male participants (Figure 8A).

Fifty-six percent of participants ages 45 and older reported a history of bone fractures.  A history of anxiety or depression was higher in the 45-64 year age group compared to other age groups.  Over 90% of hypertension was reported by the older age groups. Iron deficiency anemia was similarly reported across age groups (Figure 8B).
