State-based Prevalence of ADHD Diagnosis and Treatment 2003-2011

CDC uses national surveys that ask parents about their child’s health to monitor the number of children with ADHD and the treatment patterns for these children. The data presented on this page are from the National Survey of Children’s Health, which was collected every 4 years from 2003–2011. This survey relies on parent report of ADHD diagnosis by a healthcare provider.
