What to know
The Missouri (MO) Tracking Program’s mission is to mobilize data to improve public health.
Unique Data
All state and local tracking programs collect and display a set of standard data. But individual programs may host other data that are important to their populations. Missouri Tracking's unique data include the following.
Accomplishments
Tracking Viruses in Wastewater
Missouri Tracking participates in Missouri's Wastewater Surveillance Program to track traces of SARS-CoV-2 and other respiratory viruses in wastewater. Missouri Tracking contributes data analysis and display expertise by creating both internal agency and public dashboards. They provide additional assistance by analyzing trends in the wastewater data. Using their data expertise, Missouri Tracking assisted in creating a custom SARS-CoV-2 and influenza in wastewater data dashboard. The public, public health agencies, and others use this wastewater surveillance tool to monitor SARS-CoV-2 and influenza distribution, trends, and activity.
