Data Format Fields

Data Column: Choose the column that your data resides in.

Add Commas: Add commas to numbers greater than 3 digits.

Abbreviate Axis Values: If your data goes above the hundreds, you can select this option to abbreviate numbers into the appropriate letter for that number, such as “10k” and “40M”.

Display Value from Data: If the percentage is in your dataset and you would like to use that instead of the raw numbers, check this box. Note that if your percentage does not add up to 100%, it will fill in a calculated area for you. This will not work with the percent sign in the data column, please ensure you use whole numbers.

Round to Decimal Point: Set the number of places to round the data to. Note that this will round the raw data and the percentage to the same place.

Prefix: Add characters before the data, such as $.

Suffix: Add characters after the data, such as %.

Segments Fields

Segment Labels: Select the option from your data that contains the names of the sections.

Exclude One or More Values: This allows you to remove entries in your data that you don’t want displayed.

Add Exclusion: When Exclude One or More Values is selected, choose which data point(s) to exclude from your chart. This is ideal when you have a totaling cell in your data.
