Prevalence

The National ALS Registry publishes estimates of prevalence (patients living with the disease) in the United States. The reports below are prevalence estimates for calendar years 2010-2018. The Registry will publish additional years prevalence data as they become available.

Incidence

The National ALS Registry publishes estimates of incidence (patients newly diagnosed with the disease) in the United States. The report below are incidence estimates for calendar years 2014-2016. The Registry will publish additional years of incidence data as they become available.

Mortality
