CDC's next PHEP Connects webinar, "Resources for Risk Assessments and Exercises: Chemical Incidents and Natural Disasters," is scheduled for 1 p.m. EDT on Wednesday, July 10. Presenters Kenna Lee and Svetlana Smorodinsky from the California Department of Public Health and Jason Wilken, CDC Career Epidemiology Filed Officer (CEFO), will provide participants with information and tools to respond to chemical incidents and climate-related natural disasters more effectively. This session will also cover risk assessment tools, exercise planning, the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA), community engagement strategies, and vulnerability assessments.
