The goal of PulseNet Latin America and the Caribbean is to support the Pan American Health Organization's Regional Plan for Food Safety - a strategy approved by the Ministers of Health to strengthen the surveillance of foodborne illnesses and to reinforce technical cooperation among the member countries in relation to food safety and health.
Regional meetings are held regularly with the following participants:
