How to Examine for Scabies
Common Symptoms of Scabies are:
- Itching (worse at night)
- Rash
Look at:
- Hands – look between fingers, palms, wrists
- Elbows
- Back – look between shoulder blades
- Armpits
- Waist – look at belt line all the way around
- Knees
(Wear gloves for each examination and change gloves between each exam.)

- Codos
- Espalda – mire entre los omóplatos
- Axilas

- Rodillas
(Use guantes para cada examen y cámbieselos entre uno y otro).
