Work and Fatigue

Transforming research into practice to improve the health and well-being of miners
The Miner Health Program (MHP) exists to understand and improve the health and well-being of all mine workers through research, workplace interventions, evaluation, and community engagement. To support these goals and activities, the MHP aims to collaborate with the mining community (i.e., all individuals and groups contributing to mine worker well-being) to create a workplace that prioritizes worker longevity, physical and mental health, and a place where mine workers can thrive.
