About CDC's educational activities

Some CDC immunization courses provide continuing education (CE) credits. To obtain CE and/or print a certificate, visit CDC TRAIN to search for, register for, and complete CE for the relevant courses. If you do not need CE but need a certificate for training requirements, please select CEU as the type of continuing education you wish to earn.

You Call the Shots

This series of learning modules is an interactive self-study program covering all aspects of immunization. The modules provide basic vaccine content, links to resource materials, a comprehensive glossary, and knowledge check questions to assess learning.

Target audience

Practicing nurses and nursing students, medical assistants, pharmacists, and other health professionals who provide immunizations. The course is designed for immunization providers who are new to immunization or for those who need a refresher.

Current Issues in Immunization Webinar (CIIW) Series

CDC schedules these live, 1-hour presentations throughout the year to provide clinicians with the most up-to-date immunization information. Topics focus on what’s new in the world of immunization, such as updated guidance and recommendations or new products. Each webinar includes a question-and-answer session.
