Climate and Health Videos

Learn how climate can affect your community’s health, and what you can do.  These videos present the challenges of climate-related changes such as more frequent episodes of extreme heat, storms, and flooding; poor air quality, and the spread of disease—and how we can address those changes.

This is the first segment of the How Climate Affects Community Health video. It discusses extreme heat and what communities can do to prepare for the health effects caused by extreme heat.

In this second segment of the How Climate Affects Community Health video, extreme precipitation events are discussed. The video includes steps that communities can take to prepare for the health effects caused by these events.

Part 3 of the How Climate Affects Community Health video addresses air quality. The video discusses steps that communities can take to prepare for the health effects caused by air quality.
