Webinar: Eliminating Tuberculosis through Sustainable Financing Approaches
Global (Broadcast from Washington, DC)

In an era of ambitious new commitments and a plateau in external funding, high-burden countries are looking to domestically and sustainably fund their TB response and accelerate TB elimination. While national and local health budgets are critical sources of domestic financing, policymakers are also considering whether TB services may be purchased at scale by health insurance schemes. This webinar will explore lessons learned from Cambodia, El Salvador, Indonesia, and Nigeria—all of which have sought to diversify and raise  domestic funding streams for TB—the challenges encountered, and the role of the private sector in the TB response.
