The Streptococcus Laboratory identifies and characterizes isolates of Streptococcus species and related genera (catalase-negative, gram-positive cocci). These include:

  • Dolosicoccus, Dolosigranulum
  • Enterococcus, Eremococcus, Facklamia
  • Gemella, Globicatella, Granulicatella
