Disease Intervention Training Centers

At a glance

Disease Intervention Training Centers (DITCs) serve to strengthen the capacity of local and state health departments to conduct STD/HIV intervention services. In 2020, CDC awarded funding for a new five-year cooperative agreement for Disease Intervention Training Centers (CDC-RFA-PS20-2003). Funding supports a network of curriculum development and training centers based on three areas: a national online curriculum development and training center, a national instructor-led curriculum development center, and regional instructor-led skills-based training centers.
