The Annual Hospital Report (AHR) is an interactive portal that serves as a benefit for hospitals participating in the NHCS. The AHR provides reports that include descriptive statistics for encounters made at hospitals as well as aggregate mortality data (for hospitals submitting personally identifiable information), through linkage to the National Death Index. This version demonstrates the capabilities of the AHR using synthetic data. The production AHR is available for hospitals that submit twelve months of data to the NHCS.
