Management structure for school screening
Arizona will manage oversight of grant activities in the state; contracting with state vendor for K-12 testing activities; monitoring of budget and applicable process; distribution of funding to county health departments to support wrap-around services; and other related allowable efforts.
Support provided to school districts
Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) is contracting with a vendor to provide voluntary testing in all interested K-12 district, charter, and private schools providing any type of in-person instruction, such as full-in person or hybrid instructional models or in-person services for high needs students. ADHS is also funding local health departments to support wrap-around services for school populations and provide local level guidance to schools.
