Announcements: Final State-Level 2010--11 Influenza Vaccination Coverage Estimates Available Online

Final state-specific influenza vaccination coverage estimates for the 2010--11 season are now available online at FluVaxView ( The online information includes estimates of the cumulative percentage of persons vaccinated by the end of each month, from August 2010 through May 2011, for each state, for each U.S. Department of Health and Human Services region, and for the United States overall. Analyses were conducted using Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System data for adults aged ≥18 years and National Immunization Survey data for children aged 6 months--17 years. Estimates are provided by age group and race/ethnicity. These estimates are presented using an interactive feature, complemented by an online summary report. This posting updates the estimates presented in the MMWR report, "Interim Results: State-Specific Influenza Vaccination Coverage --- United States, August 2010--February 2011" (1).
