Apply to Be an EEP Student

EEP partners with the CDC Foundation to provide several monetary awards annually to EEP graduates to attend the annual Epidemic Intelligence Service conference. Key Deadlines and Rotation Dates
Application Timeline for 2024 Rotations
February 1, 2023 Application period opens
March 31, 2023 Application period closes at 11:59 p.m. (ET). All applications and supporting materials must be received by the deadline.
Late applications will not be considered.
June 30, 2023 Selected applicants notified via email. To finalize acceptance, students must complete the required paperwork by the date provided within the acceptance notification.
Tentative 2024 Rotations Timeline
You must be available to complete the entire set rotation period. Requests for date changes and exceptions will not be considered. When applying, you should select your availability for each of the set rotation periods. Please make the appropriate arrangements prior to submitting your application. During the first 3 days of each set rotation period, students participate in an in-person orientation training at CDC in Atlanta, Georgia. The EEP program will cover travel costs to Atlanta for students placed in non-Atlanta sites to participate.
Rotation A January 8–February 16, 2024 (6 weeks)
Rotation B January 8–March 1, 2024 (8 weeks)
Rotation C March 18–April 26, 2024 (6 weeks)
Rotation D March 18–May 10, 2024 (8 weeks)
