Weekly estimates of COVID-19 vaccination coverage among Medicare beneficiaries ages 65 and older are based on data from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.

Adults 65+ COVID-19 Vaccination Coverage

COVID-19 vaccination coverage among Medicare fee-for-service beneficiaries aged 65 years and older is assessed using data files from the Medicare Fee-For-Service (FFS) administrative claims data managed by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).

Weekly COVID-19 vaccination coverage estimates were calculated using Kaplan-Meier survival analysis, based on beneficiaries enrolled as of August 1 of each year. For the 2023 ̶ 24 season, COVID-19 vaccines received September 1, 2023 through August 17, 2024, were included. For the 2024 ̶ 25 season, COVID-19 vaccines received since August 22, 2024, were included.
