National Council Urban Indian Health
Wisdom Keepers videos are part of the National Council of Urban Indian Health’s campaign to raise awareness of Alzheimer’s disease for urban Indian Elders. Studies show that 1 of every 3 American Indian or Alaska Natives, aged 65 and older, are at risk for developing Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. The campaign also includes a social media toolkit, flyer and posters, graphics and other resources. For more information, see ncuih.org/wisdomkeeperexternal icon.
The Wisdom Keepers campaign was funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
