VTrckS Connection Newsletter
From the NCIRD Management Official,
Welcome to full VTrckS deployment! On behalf of the entire project leadership team, I would like to congratulate our awardees on achieving this major milestone. As of May 6, 2013, all 64 awardees have transitioned to full VTrckS for vaccine ordering and management. Thank you for your partnership and participation throughout this intensive process.
For several of our ExIS awardees, the focus will now turn to getting their interfaces up and running, while VTrckS Direct awardees will continue their efforts to bring providers on to the system. As of April 30, 2013, approximately 1,429 provider users are already working in VTrckS, and per the provider deployment plans submitted by the VTrckS Direct awardees, we expect that number to grow rapidly over the next few months.
As we enter this new post-deployment phase, you will notice a new look and feel to some of our communications, such as this bi-monthly newsletter. If you have thoughts or suggestions regarding the best ways CDC can support and communicate with your organizations going forward, please share them with us through the Contact Center—we want to continue our close collaboration to ensure VTrckS’ ongoing success. And again, congratulations!
