There will also be training highlights of various reports available in VTrckS. Grantees will have the oppportunity to ask questions about VTrckS reports and practice hands-on in the training environment.
In addition, VTrckS subject matter experts will be on-hand during PMM to answer any other questions you may have regarding VTrckS functionality or deployment preparations (e.g., data cleansing, ExIS). We look forward to seeing everyone in Atlanta!
PC & Network Readiness Tool
The CDC VTrckS team has created a PC & Network Readiness Tool to further support grantees as they access and utilize functionality within VTrckS. The Readiness Tool provides a series of automated and manual steps to help you verify that your computers meet the VTrckS minimum technical specifications (e.g., Internet Explorer, operating system, JAVA). Running the Readiness Tool’s automated and guided steps should take no more than 15 minutes of your time.
Readiness Tool Access:
Grantee users with an active SAMS account who have already deployed or are deploying between December and February now have access to the PC & Network Readiness Tool to verify if their PC meets VTrckS minimum technical specifications. Grantees deploying between March and May of 2013 will receive access to this tool when they take their first Manual and Module deployment preparation webinar.
The Readiness Tool can be accessed via a link on the SAMS Home screen. A Grantee Readiness Tool Quick Reference Guide will be available via a link on the Readiness Tool Home screen. This guide will provide further instructions and will walk you through the steps within the Readiness Tool.
